Apart from the colourful projections and light installations, a long table dinner will dominate the highly anticipated return of Illuminate in May.

Opening Wollondilly’s Festival of Art & Light on Friday 20 May, Picton Botanic Gardens will come to life with lights and a spectacular illuminated sculpture and lantern display on, with the long table dinner taking centre stage under the Avenue of Trees from 6 to 9pm.

Attendees will be treated to a four-course dinner served by The Chef and I, accompanied by beverages and live entertainment by singer Karleigh Rose who promises a selection of easy listening music to complement the beautiful surroundings.

Mayor Matt Gould said he was looking forward to seeing people take part this special evening as part of the three- day festival.

“After almost three years of Covid cancellations we can finally bring the Illuminate festival back, bigger and better than ever,” he said.

Tickets are $155 per person and are available through Trybooking: https://www.trybooking.com/BSRMO

On Saturday 21 May, Picton will welcome the main festival with market stalls, food court, amazing building projections and light displays, a live entertainment stage as well as the family carnival. The Family Fireworks will cap off the night from 9pm.

On Sunday 22 May, you can enjoy an afternoon of Jazz & Swing music; bring a picnic and your chairs to the Picton Botanic Gardens.

As always, C91.3 will be back broadcasting live from Picton Hotel the festival week.
