MotoCoach Elite Racing has launched onto Australia’s motorcycle racing scene with a purpose that goes deeper than podium finishes, building stronger young people alongside faster riders.
Unveiled at Bellbird racetrack during a pre-season test weekend hosted by Macarthur Motorcycle Club, the team is already signalling a shift in how racing success is defined.
“The Bellbird weekend was about more than testing,” said owner Leigh Gainfort.
“It was about setting the tone for who we are.”
With a 2026 pro lineup featuring Rhys Budd, Cooper Holroyd, Brandon Steel and Hadley Gainfort, alongside a dedicated development squad, the team is investing in long-term pathways not just short-term wins.
At its core is a bold philosophy: performance matters, but so does the person inside the helmet.
“Our goal is to shape the future of the sport,” Gainfort said.
“We want to develop riders who are as grounded as they are confident.”
In a high-pressure sport, MotoCoach Elite Racing is also placing youth mental health front and centre, an often overlooked issue.
“Young riders face enormous pressure. If we want long-term success, we need to make a difference to youth mental health,” Gainfort said.
As engines fire for the new season, MotoCoach Elite Racing is making one thing clear; that this is not just a race team, but a platform for performance, purpose and change.
