Campbelltown Billabong Parklands is gearing up for summer, with its pools reopening over the October long weekend for a two-day celebration packed with family fun.
The Summer Season Launch on Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 October will officially kick off the Billabong’s 2026/27 swimming season, with live skate demonstrations and competitions featuring professional skaters, mobile laser skirmish and face painting.
“The Campbelltown Billabong Parklands is a vital facility for our community, and the Summer Season Launch is a fantastic way to kick off another exciting summer at the Billabong,” Campbelltown Mayor Cr Darcy Lound said.
The popular attraction welcomed more than 85,000 visitors last summer, with another busy season expected as temperatures rise.
“As the weather continues to heat up, our pools are a popular place to cool off, and it’s always wonderful to see families and the community making the most of our leisure centres,” Lound said.
Following the launch weekend, the Billabong pools will open 10am to 6pm daily throughout October, before extending to 10am to 7pm from November through to February 2027.
