The Camden Festival is back in September, with crowd-pleasers Unlock Camden, Picnic in the Park, Kids Fun Day and TASTE Camden all making a welcome return.
Mayor of Camden, Cr Ashleigh Cagney, said she was looking forward to welcoming everybody back to Camden Festival for 2023.
“Every year, September is a month I count down,” she said.
“The winter cold disappears, the trees are looking beautiful and we’re treated to the incredible Camden Festival.”
At Unlock Camden on Saturday 2 September, Camden’s historic past will be unlocked through a number of heritage walking tours, vintage cars on display, garden games and much more throughout the area.
On Sunday 10 September, locals and visitors will descend onto picturesque Macarthur Park, Camden for Picnic in the Park. Soaking up the springtime air, attendees will enjoy garden games, kids activities, live music and delicious food.
Later that week, on Wednesday 13 September, pre-school aged children will have a blast at the family friendly Kids Fun Day at Perich Park, Oran Park. Kids will enjoy live performances by some very special guests, activities and a FREE barbecue.
Ending the festival’s major event schedule will be the signature event – TASTE Camden. The focus is on food with an abundance of food and drink vendors cooking up cuisines from all over the world. There’ll also be cooking demonstrations from celebrity chefs, a licensed bar, music performances and much more.
