It’s time for Camden’s young people to get that creativity swirling with the return of an exciting program of events over the next few months.

Camden Swirls is a line-up of a creative activities for residents aged between 10 and 14 years who live in the Camden area. Each event will invite up to 30 tweens to attend and will be free.

The program includes the below activities, all held at Julia Reserve Youth and Community Centre in Oran Park. Bookings for each activity will open as they get closer.

Mayor of Camden, Cr Therese Fedeli, said Camden Swirls was a great way for young residents to unleash their creative side.

“Whether it’s something they’re already interested in or maybe it’s something they’d like to explore a little more, getting our kids involved in creative activities can have so many benefits,” Cr Fedeli said.

“It’s a great way for them to unwind and bring about a positive mindset, connect with peers across the Camden area and, who knows, we might see the start of an acclaimed artist in our midst!”
