More than 120 business, community and civic leaders gathered to celebrate the launch of Camden Village, a new digital platform designed to showcase the township’s businesses, attractions, events and community life.

Unveiled by Spirit of Camden, the new website, camdenvillage.com.au, is a key outcome of the NSW Government’s Uptown Grant Program and serves as a one-stop hub for residents and visitors.

The platform features a business directory, event listings, local stories, podcasts, visitor information and an online marketplace, while also providing opportunities for businesses and organisations to promote themselves through Spirit of Camden memberships.

State Member for Camden Sally Quinnell joined Federal Member for Hume Angus Taylor, NSW Liberal candidate Mick Willing and Camden Councillors Eva Campbell and Eliza Rahman at the launch, which highlighted the work undertaken over the past year to strengthen Camden’s economy and visitor appeal.

Spirit of Camden Chair Matt Glynn said the launch marked a significant milestone for the district.

“I am so proud of what we have been able to achieve over the past twelve months,” Glynn said.

“We look forward to continuing the work we have started and keeping the momentum moving forward.”

Guests explored the new platform through interactive displays while enjoying an evening celebrating Camden’s growing profile as a destination for business, tourism and community connection.

Hosted by Glenn Millanta, the event featured live entertainment from Steve Hart and Hart’s All Stars Band, with DJ Dee opening the evening. Local hospitality was provided by Barenz, with beverages supplied by Powder Monkey Brewing Co.

Spirit of Camden District Coordinator Melissa Musgrave said the strong turnout reflected the community’s enthusiasm for the initiative.

“The vibrancy of the room really highlighted what we all enjoy — coming together, bringing live music to the area, activating the town and showcasing what makes Camden Village so special,” she said.

The Camden Village platform will continue to evolve as a community-driven resource, helping local businesses, community groups and event organisers connect with residents and visitors while strengthening the district’s identity and economy.
