Artist’s impressions have just been released, giving us a first look at what the new primary school in Gregory Hills will look like.

The school is currently in the State Significant Development Application Process (SSDA), subject to approval, it is expected that construction will commence towards the end of the year.

Gregory Hills Primary, which will be located at Gregory Hills Drive, will include fit-for-purpose learning spaces and core facilities to support the growing area.

Member for Camden Peter Sidgreaves said he was delighted to mark this important milestone for the new primary school at Gregory Hills.

“This new primary school will greatly benefit the Gregory Hills community for generations to come,” he said.

The new primary school at Gregory Hills will provide teaching spaces for approximately 1,000 students from Kindergarten to Year 6.

The project will deliver 44 classrooms, four support learning spaces, administration and staff facilities, canteen, multi-purpose hall, library, covered outdoor learning area, landscaped outdoor learning areas and outdoor play spaces including a sports court and a playing field.

Modern Methods of Construction (MMC) methodology, an innovative design and construction process which combines off-site manufacture and on-site assembly that is sustainable and delivers schools quickly and safely, will be used to construct the school.

Minister for Education Sarah Mitchell said she was pleased to see the artist impressions of the new primary school in Gregory Hills.

“I’m proud that we are continuing our record investment in school infrastructure across NSW. We are working hard to provide schools with modern facilities designed specifically for their community,” Ms Mitchell said.
