This year, Festival of Fisher’s Ghost is back and bringing all the fun to you! Though a larger festival is unable to go ahead, Macarthur residents will be able to participate in small and online events from Friday the 5th to Sunday the 7th of November.

“While it’s a shame that we can’t all get out and celebrate the Festival of Fisher’s Ghost together, we still have a great line up of events planned for people of all ages and interests,” Mayor of Campbelltown George Brticevic said.

Highlights include a free self-guided audio tour following the footsteps of Fred Fisher, online DanceFit classes by Shane’s crew with an added inclusive session for those living with a disability, a virtual escape room, and Pinot & Picasso Australia classes from the comfort of your home! Fisher’s Kids and the Fisher’s Ghost Art Award at Campbelltown Arts Centre will also be going ahead.

In even better news, it seems it’s never too early to start preparing for November 2022, with next year’s Festival set to be bigger and better than ever.

“Planning is already underway to ensure we can bring back a fresh Festival of Fisher’s Ghost next year with some great new ideas that complement the festival’s heritage,” Cr Brticevic said.
