Fisher’s Ghost Parade 2019
Assorted superheroes of all sizes and from all galaxies donned their capes, lycras and masks for the annual Fisher’s Ghost Parade last Saturday.
Darth Vader duelled with his trombone, a tiny little Spiderman zapped everyone as he passed, the Ghostbusters searched for spooks down Queen Street as they cheerfully walked with our community’s everyday superheroes from the essential services, war veterans, carers, teachers, wildlife warriors and more.
“This year’s parade theme We could be heroes seems to have really brought out the best in our community and looking at all these spectacular floats, creative costumes and people braving a hot day to line the street makes me all the more proud to be Mayor of Campbelltown”, Cr George Brticevic said.
The parade wound up at the Heroes Hub in Koshigaya Park where Richard Reid – Studio 10, I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, etc – was a real crowdpleaser.
