Christen Campbelltown Council’s new mini-road sweeper and go into the draw to win a $100 Visa gift card.

Council recently purchased the mini-sweeper in order to access footpaths, car parks and other high use areas in the Campbelltown and Ingleburn CBDs that can’t be reached by larger machinery as part of the wider $2.4 million City Amenity and Appeal Program.

Residents can submit ideas for names online. Mayor George Greiss will select a shortlist of names, which the community can then vote on to decide their favourite.

“The City Amenity and Appeal Program is all about building community pride in our public spaces, especially our CBD areas,” Cr Greiss said.

“The naming competition is an opportunity to be involved in this program and have their chosen name on a piece of machinery which will be seen across the city each day.”

Entries close 6 March.
