Staff and students at Macarthur Anglican School in Cobbitty will benefit from work to build new classrooms and collaborative learning spaces, funded as part of the Federal Government’s Capital Grants Program.

Federal Member for Hume Angus Taylor said the Australian Government would provide $500,000 towards the project at Macarthur Anglican School.

“Macarthur Anglican School has a wonderful school community, and these new facilities will further enhance the learning environment,” Mr Taylor said.

“Students and teachers thrive when their schools have modern and up-to-date facilities. That’s why the Morrison Government is proud of the Capital Grants Program, which has helped thousands of schools across the nation to build new and updated infrastructure.”

The Government is providing a record $315.2 billion for all Australian schools between 2018 and 2029.
