In a first for Ingleburn RSL Sub-Branch Club, all nine surviving Life Members came together to celebrate an unprecedented milestone at a special Life Member Presentation and Brunch. Since 1970, only 31 individuals have received the Club’s highest honour, making this gathering a historic tribute to exceptional service and dedication.

“Their commitment, passion, and hard work embody our core values of People, Teamwork, Integrity, and Belonging. Their contributions have profoundly impacted the Club and the community it serves,” Club President Terry Goldsworthy said.

During the event, Mr Goldsworthy recognized each Life Member with a commemorative certificate and a uniquely engraved badge pin, in the presence of Member for Macquarie Fields Anoulack Chanthivong.

“Thank you to the Ingleburn RSL Sub-Branch Club Ltd for hosting this important occasion to acknowledge the tremendous contributions of its life members over the years,” Mr Chanthivong said.

“The life members have demonstrated commitment to our local community and the club through years of dedication, hard work and valuable service. I commend their collective efforts, which reflect the club’s legacy and community spirit.”

Collectively, these nine living Life Members represent 164 years of Board service and 34 years in CEO roles – an extraordinary track record. The morning also provided an opportunity to remember those no longer with us, ensuring their impact remains part of the Club’s rich history.

The nine honourees were:

  • Terry Goldsworthy – 18th Life Member (former CEO/current Club President)
  • Brian Gordon – 23rd Life Member (former Treasurer/Director)
  • Tony Rankin – 24th Life Member (former Director)
  • Ray Williams – 25th Life Member (former Club President, Treasurer, Director)

  • Vince Vincent – 29th Life Member (former Treasurer/Director)
  • Glenn Cushion – 30th Life Member (current CEO)
