Kuba Dorabialski tops the prestigious Open Category in Fisher’s Ghost Art Awards
1994 high school winner Kuba Dorabialski returned to the 2019 Fisher’s Ghost Art Awards in style, winning the prestigious Open Award for ‘The Glasses on My Nosetip’. The video work is inspired by Kuba’s reactions to global political change and a feeling of solidarity with people’s struggles.
Always great to catch up with the many friends among the other category winners, share stories of their journeys (Peter Gregson’s still obsessed with tornadoes) and CAC’s director Michael Dagostino, beaming all over at yet another very successful Art Awards and what has quite honestly altogether been a smashing year for his centre..
