Camden’s streets are turning into a living stage as Live n’ Local 2026 launches a six-week celebration of music, creativity and community.
Running every Saturday until 13 June, the program will bring live performances to Camden Town Centre, with designated busking sites, pop-up acts and music spilling through cafes, galleries, breweries, clubs and local businesses.
Venues include Alan Baker Gallery, Back Galley Cafe, Blooms Chemist, Lexus of Macarthur, Dessert Lab, Camden Golf Club, Merino Brewery, Bank and BMW Macarthur.
The program will build towards Make Music Day on Sunday 21 June, when Camden joins cities around the world in celebrating the power of music with a full day of performances, spontaneous musical moments and vibrant street culture.
Mayor of Camden, Cr Therese Fedeli, said the program gives local artists valuable exposure.
“Live n’ Local is such a terrific way for Council to offer accessible, paid and high-visibility opportunities for local performers to share their craft,” she said.
From acoustic sets to emerging talent and seasoned performers, Live n’ Local invites residents and visitors to experience Camden in a fresh way.
“Wander the streets, follow the music and discover the magic of Live n’ Local,” Fedeli said.
