Relive some of Fred Astaire and Judy Garland’s best-known songs when the 1948 MGM classic Easter Parade screens at Narellan Library on Wednesday 13 March as part of Camden Council’s Seniors Festival 2024.

March is jam-packed with a range of activities for seniors to take part in across the Camden area, including health and wellbeing sessions, creative workshops and the ever-popular talent quest and Forget-Me-Not Concert.

Mayor of Camden, Cr Ashleigh Cagney, encouraged seniors to get involved.

“The Seniors Festival continues to grow each year locally. Seniors contribute so much to our community and so every year this is a fantastic way for us to honour and celebrate them,” she said.

“There’s no need to travel far when we have a fantastic line-up of events for Seniors Festival here in Camden.”

The theme for this year is ‘reach beyond’, which encourages seniors to seek out new experiences and make new friends by participating in the festivities.

As a grand finale, the festival will host a Seniors Festival Comedy Road Show on Wednesday 27 March at the Camden Civic Centre brought to us by the hilarious bunch from Comedy With A Cause.

Council is offering most events and activities free or low-cost in a program that includes:
