Going from Mouse, the young Nebuchadnezzar crew member in The Matrix to selling death sticks to patrons of the Outlander Club as Elan Sel’Sabagno in the Star Wars saga (Episode II – Attack of the Clones), Matt Doran is now a hot favourite on the Comic Con circuit.

Doran will visit Campbelltown for a Meet and Greet at Comic Book Day 2024 on Saturday 4 May, when local comic enthusiasts are encouraged to don their best costumes and join in a celebration of pop culture.

He will also judge the popular Cosplay Competition that makes a comeback this year.

From 10am to 3pm, visitors can join a variety of free activities and creative workshops inspired by pop culture franchises at HJ Daley Library, including Star Wars Day, which coincides with this year’s celebration.

“Comic Book Day is a great chance for locals of all ages to come together and celebrate a shared passion for the comics and franchises that mean the most to them,” Mayor of Campbelltown George Greiss said.

“Our Libraries continue to offer inclusive and welcoming programs for all residents and this year’s Comic Book Day is shaping up to be the biggest yet, so I encourage everyone to get involved,” Dr Greiss said.
