Business owners in Macarthur can now tune into free and expert business advice anywhere, at any time, with the launch of a new podcast from the Service NSW Business Bureau.

The Service NSW Business Connect Podcast series is available on Spotify and features leading business experts, including lawyers and accountants, who provide practical, independent advice on topical issues many small businesses face.

From insolvency, to managing business costs and prioritising mental health, the free episodes hosted by David Turner will cover a range of topics and provide listeners with insights and steps they can take to maintain their business health.

Some of the topics already up are:

  • How to have tough conversations with creditors
  • Steps to take when your business is in financial stress
  • How to know if your business is in danger of becoming insolvent.

“In business, knowledge is power, which is why it’s important to equip small business owners with the tools they need to succeed,” said Cassandra Gibbens, Executive Director, Service NSW Business Bureau.

The Business Connect program provides small businesses with free, tailored, one-on-one sessions with independent advisors on topics such as business planning, marketing, and cash flow.

The podcast expands on the online resources and events Business Connect provides to help small business owners gain business knowledge and insights at a time which suits them.
