Pickleball paddles will be swinging first as Campbelltown serves up a colourful celebration for older residents during NSW Seniors Festival 2026.
The festival, running from March 2–15, kicks off its high-energy program with a Pickleball Come & Try at Macquarie Fields Indoor Sports Centre on Wednesday 4 March, setting the tone for this year’s theme, Live Life in Colour.
Mayor of Campbelltown Darcy Lound said the festival shines a spotlight on the city’s vibrant senior community.
“NSW Seniors Festival gives our older residents a chance to come together and celebrate with a great program of community events that celebrate and recognise their ongoing legacy and role in Campbelltown,” he said.
“This year’s theme reminds us of our active and engaged seniors’ community in Campbelltown, and I look forward to seeing them show up to support this year’s program of events.”
Beyond the pickleball courts, seniors can test their skills at Street Smarts & Self Defence sessions, enjoy free pool entry, attend a Wills for Seniors seminar at HJ Daley Library, explore services at the Positive Ageing Expo at Wests Leagues Club, or get creative at the Live Life in Colour workshop at Campbelltown Arts Centre.
Most events are free, though bookings are required for some.
