Residents of Campbelltown who selflessly devote their time and energy to aiding our furry friends in the community were celebrated at the Council’s Companion Animal Rescue and Rehoming Awards.

Mayor of Campbelltown George Greiss praised their passion and effort, expressing gratitude for their work in rescuing and rehoming animals.

“Campbelltown is fortunate to have many community members who are passionate about the safety and wellbeing of animals across our city,” Dr Greiss said.

“It was wonderful to have the opportunity to acknowledge the individuals who were present yesterday, and those not in attendance, for their hard work in assisting with rescuing and rehoming animals in need.”

Attendees received certificates from the Mayor in acknowledgment of their contributions to animal well-being.
