Macarthur Bulls FC has strengthened its attacking stocks ahead of the 2026/27 Isuzu UTE A-League season, signing Scottish winger Kai Kennedy.
The 24-year-old arrives from Queen of the South FC after an impressive career in Scotland, where he made 196 senior appearances across spells with Rangers FC, Falkirk FC, York City and Queen of the South, scoring 26 goals and providing 43 assists.
Kennedy has also represented Scotland at Under-21 level.
Kennedy said he was thrilled to begin the next chapter of his career in Australia.
“I’m buzzing to sign for the Bulls. Moving from Scotland to Sydney is a massive step for me, and I’m really grateful for the opportunity,” he said.
“It’s an exciting new chapter, and I can’t wait to get started, meet everyone at the club, and play in front of the fans.”
He said the opportunity to live in Sydney and embrace a new challenge was impossible to ignore.
“I wanted to challenge myself in a different environment, keep developing as a player, and be part of a club that’s heading in the right direction,” Kennedy added.
“It felt like the perfect move at the right time.”
A dynamic left winger, Kennedy believes Bulls supporters will enjoy his attacking style.
“Fans can expect an exciting, positive player who always wants to get on the ball and make things happen,” Kennedy said.
“I’m a left winger who likes to take defenders on, create chances, and contribute with goals and assists.”
He added, “Most importantly, I’ll work hard for the team every game and give everything I have for the badge.”
Kennedy’s arrival adds pace, creativity and experience to Macarthur’s forward line as the Bulls prepare for the new A-League campaign.
