Local celebrities and community leaders like Glenn Millanta will show off their moves this Friday to raise funds for a cancer free future.
This popular celebrant and actor is part of Stars of Sydney South West, who for the past month have stepped out of their comfort zones to learn a dance routine that they will perform at the Gala Night at Wests to benefit the Cancer Council.
Others fundraising while competing for the three awards – Judges’ Choice, People’s Choice, and Highest Fundraiser – include Debbie Roberts (Debbie Roberts Consulting), Antoinette Sulfaro (Ladies like to lunch), Murray Kennedy (MK Real Estate), Julieanne Horsman (City Tattersalls Club), Lisa Crouch (Lisa Crouch Powerhouse Diva), Cyana Duong (Camie Fleur), Glenn Millanta (Sydney Celebrant Glenn), Sonya Moulang (TAFE NSW), Gillian Greenwood (Paediatric Emergency Nurse Practitioner at Blacktown Emergency Department).
“The aim is to have people from all areas of the community participate, demonstrating how we can all contribute and make a difference,” said Jenny Nguyen, Community Fundraising Coordinator, Cancer Council’s Greater Western Sydney office.
“It’s amazing to see these individuals take on the dance journey and seeing the impact and awareness they create amongst the Sydney South West community of Cancer Council’s work.”
