Campbelltown-produced film, The Blind Sea, will premiere at the Sydney Film Festival in June, which is more than local director Daniel Fenech could have ever hoped for. The film follows professional athlete Matt Formston as he readies himself to confront a new, awe-inspiring challenge: surfing the biggest wave ever tackled by a blind surfer off the shores of Nazare, Portugal.

For The Blind Sea, Mr Fenech swops producers’ hats with filmmaker Heath Davis, whose last highly successful venture, Christmess, he produced under his Brick Studios banner.

Tickets for the premiere on June 11 are available at https://www.sff.org.au/program/browse/the-blind-sea.
