Wests Group Macarthur is offering an exciting, new sustainability grants program for 2026, putting $20,000 on the table to power grassroots environmental change across Campbelltown, Camden and Wollondilly.
Open to early learning centres, schools, P&C Associations, sporting clubs and not-for-profits, the Wests For the Future Grants Program is now accepting applications, closing 1 May.
CEO Daniel Perkiss said the initiative reinforces Wests’ long-term investment in the region’s wellbeing.
“As part of our ongoing commitment to Macarthur, Wests Group Macarthur are thrilled to launch the Wests For the Future Grants Program offering schools and community organisations some financial support to deliver their environmental and sustainability focused projects,” he said.
With $20,000 available, Perkiss said the club is eager to back practical, community-led ideas.
“With $20,000 available we look forward to receiving applications for and sharing the great stories around small but impactful environmental initiatives around our community,” he added.
The new program sits alongside Wests’ regular ClubGRANTS rounds but is designed to be more agile, responding quickly to local sustainability needs and nurturing a healthier, greener future for Macarthur.
Applicants are asked to classify their application under key sustainability categories, including:
- Reducing or conserving energy or water;
- Improving waste management and recycling;
- Initiatives that promote local food production or reduce food waste and support environmental awareness;
- Biodiversity improvement or restoration projects;
- Practical education and awareness initiatives.
From school gardens to energy-saving upgrades and creative eco-projects, Wests is calling on local changemakers to step forward.
