For the second year in a row, Winterfest Online will be bringing all the season’s festivities to you!
Just because we can’t go out and celebrate like planned, doesn’t mean we can’t have fun at home. That’s why Camden Council has taken Winterfest online for everyone to enjoy.
For the rest of this week, the fun-filled event will feature a long list of activities such as Winter-inspired recipes supplied by local businesses, including Jallys Ultimate Hot Chocolate, and Winterfest cupcake decorating with Cupcakes in Camden, and endless crafts for you to create at home.
Winterfest-themed rocks have also been placed around the Camden area for you to find on your exercise walk! You can even decorate your own rock and hide it for others to find. Make sure you post a picture with the hashtag #winterfestrocks if you see one!
Mayor of Camden, Cr Therese Fedeli, says that she is glad that the event is still able to go ahead in some capacity.
“I hope with Council’s online activities and initiatives, families and household members are able to have some fun and share the joy that the magical Winter Wonderland brings,” she says.
“There will be something for everyone in this program, whether you have young children who are interested in arts and crafts, or if you want to bake a winter-inspired treat.”
