Caroline Argent is Wollondilly Council’s new Director, Customer & Corporate Services.

“Ms Argent brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record leading challenging and complex organisations and delivering outstanding results for customers and stakeholders,” CEO Ben Taylor said.

Established recently, Customer & Corporate Services Directorate brings together key teams for the organisation, with a central focus on customer excellence and the delivery of priority organisational improvement projects.

Ms Argent will be leading the newly established Directorate to deliver organisational improvements and focus on customer excellence across the organisation.

“I am honoured to have been appointed to the role of Director Customer & Corporate Services and to have the opportunity to join such a well-respected Council team,” Ms Argent said.

“On a personal note I am eager to get started and join an already strong team and be inspired by their growth, noting their talent, tenure and experience.”

Most recently the Chief Executive/State Manager of the Pharmacy Guild of Australia NSW Branch, Ms Argent was also General Manager of Engineers Australia for many years and is now a proud resident of the Wollondilly Shire.

Mr Taylor feels that she is taking up her new role with Council during a pivotal time for Wollondilly, as it welcomes a newly elected Mayor and Councillors.

“Our focus is on providing outstanding customer service and I look forward to Caroline making a real difference for our community”, he said.

As a dedicated community sector professional, Ms Argent has seen firsthand how resilient communities play an important role in shaping the future.
